Worthwhile projects around the Stafford area

Webwave often come across people working for various good causes around the area. The work that these individuals do is amazing and unfortunately often goes unnoticed to many. We set this page up to highlight some local projects around Stafford that we think deserve recognition. This page is a work in progress and we shall be updating it regularly.

Katharine House Hospice

Founded in 1993 Katharine House provides free hospice care to those unfortunate enough to suffer from life limiting conditions. The staff at Katharine House work exceptionally hard to make sure that patients have the best quality of life possible.

The hospice now offers a 15 place day unit, 10 bedded in-patient unit amongst many other facilities. Events of all shapes and sizes are organised by Katharine House, from Winter Walks to Vegas Evenings. Full details can be found on their events page.
